Since I got the REACT LP87 – Laurent Garnier – Laboratoire Mix (6xLP, Comp + Box) in 1996 Iam still a great fan of DJ friendly sampler & compilation.
When I think of to the incredible Studio !K7 X-Mix Series (Iam lucky owner of No. 5 to No. 10) I get a shiver.
Since 2000 Cocoon Recordings released every years summer its Cocoon Compilation. Now we’re in 2010 and the sampler counted by letters not by number reached J.
Fresh from the stock I got one of the (rare) vinyl-box-sets.
The previews of the tracks gave me only a small impression of how they will work on the dance floor, that’s why I will try some of them tomorrow at the electronic culture club in Münster.
